Use of Agricultural Chemicals Near domestic property (UK)

by "antony@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <antony@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 10, 2006 at 02:14 PM

Does anyone know of any legislation or guidance on the use of
Agricultural chemicals near domestic property in the UK? I live
adjacent to a field and have a boundry of aprox 600feet. The farmer
frequently uses pesticide/herbicide and granular fertiliser. Although
he doesn't spray whn he wind is blowing towards the property, being in
such close proiximity, the chemicals must drift onto my property. After
fertiliser has been used the garden is always covered in little white
balls! This can't be good for us. Thoughs please.

Thanks

Tony
