Try this to keep your bees and avoid Colony Collapse Disorder

Keep an empty box for every occupied hive.

Prepare the empty box, and use phermones to draw the bees out of the
occupied hive into the empty one and give that 4 hours.  Use the
smoker and go to the once occupied hive and remove the queen and move
her to the clean hive.  Finally, use the smoker and take out the
honeycomb that is full.
