Blimey! That was exciting.

I'm going to move a hive tomorrow, so tonight I waited until all the 
bees were done with flying and were getting sleepy, sleeeeeeepy, 
sleeeeeeeepy.

Then I snuck up on the hive and used some foam to block the entrance.

Only I left a small gap... Oops.

It's *amazing* how many bees can get out of a really small hole in a big 
hurry!  :^)

An hour later (and fully dark), they'd calmed down enough for try two, 
and now they're (mostly) tucked up for the night.

Ho-hum. Wish me luck for tomorrow!
