Uncapping procedures

by "terpla122@[EMAIL PROTECTED] " <terpla122@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sep 12, 2007 at 05:58 AM

Getting ready to do the extracting, using a radial extractor for the
first time and was wondering what the advantages/disadvantages were
 of the following two procedures:

    A. Electric uncapping knife

    B. Stainless steel uncapping fork

My past experience has been with the hot knife method but it
seems to be a little more labor intensive then the fork.

Yet I wonder if getting the honey out of the cells would be
made more difficult with the fork method.

Any and all thoughts would be appreciated.
