Presumably a Neonicotinoid, brand names such as Platinum, Admire Pro,
Cruiser,Gaucho, Leverage, Actara, Venom, Provado, Alias, Pasada,
Couraze, Assail are shown on the list at

No idea which one in particular is banned in France. They are
certainly not immune from "CCD" but the majority of the "CCD" losses
worldwide have been in the USA, that's not to say there aren't huge
losses elsewhere but they are more recently becoming recognised as due
to varroa and warm winters.
