20 years ago, a colony made a nest at the external side of my window. As I
was a young boy at the time I much enjoyed it watching them through the
glass of the (closed) window. My mother was suggesting to spray them dead,
my father insisted on finding a beekeeper to catch it.
Luckily, my fathers decission was carried out, we caught the swarm, put it
in a hive at our garden, and there it was.. Year by year, they gave me new
swarms and I now try to keep five of them (used to have 10 but it was too
much work for a non-beekeeper by profession) that give me more honey that
I
can eat.
