Not hermetic controlled atmosphere - how to fix?

by "Pawel Pawlak" <pawel.pawlak@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Dec 14, 2004 at 03:22 PM

Hello There! :-)

I`m "newbie" apple orchard grower and I hope I will find some help on
this group.
Let`s go straight to the point: We have 4 controlled atmosphere storage
rooms, each for about 100 t fruits.
The problem is that these rooms are not totaly hermetic, as should be.
There are probably handreds of micropunctures so small, that eye cannot
see it.
We cowered bigger cracks using silicone and it helped a bit.
My question is - is there any paint like substance (ex. epoxy-paint) or
something other, that can I use to cover whole inner sufrace of storage
rooms that they will be airtight for many years?
Any answer will be very helpful for me.
