It's gone up every time I buy it. Price paid today was GBP 6.50/20 kg
Spillers layers pellets, 5.00/20 kg wheat.
I now mix my food, 2 bags layers to one bag wheat to keep the cost down a
bit. I've not noticed its affected egg production - but as all my girls
are
getting elderly and are rare breeds it costs me about 3 quid to get a
dozen
eggs even when they're in full lay now.
To cost it out over the year with their long lay-off after moulting? Just
don't go there...
