So I looked around at some of my geriatric girls with a view to stretching
their necks. I can't do it.
I will just have to wait until they die, but none of them show any signs
of
wanting to do so ;-)
The cost of food if it doesn't settle down will stop me from keeping my
rare
breeds going. They were never economic but this is ridiculous.
So, what a pity it would be if my Sicilian Buttercups, Appenzellers,
Lakenfelders and Barnvelder bantams will be gone because of the cost of
food.
