You survived the Reichenbach Falls! A miracle, sir!

Pleee-eease - how do you tell? The chicken-***er my parents saw in
action at a farm where they bought chicks (this was *decades* ago) did
it when they were one day old. I start getting suspicious at various
times but there have been some who kept me guessing till they started
crowing! I'd love to be able to sort them with certainty at that young
age before I get to know them as individuals. And cockerels are poor
eating so I'd rather not have to feed them so long!
Mine are descended from a gene whirlpool so combs are red, black, rose,
blobby, conventional picture-book, hidden in top-knots etc etc.
