carbonised rice hull alkaline?

by shakiro <shakiro@[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Jun 25, 2008 at 02:37 PM

Good day all.

I read somewhere that carbonised rice hull is somewhat alkaline, and that
it can be used to reduce the soil's acidity.
Is that true?
And also that chicken manure was supposed to be slightly alkaline.
True?

thanks
