An interesting experience today - and not for the first time.
Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is a fine building built on
the outskirts in pleasant countryside.
I can't say I have ever been very impressed with the carparking
arrangements, which were clearly designed to show a profit rather than
service the patients and staff.
However they worked well enough. Traumatised patients, emergency
vehicles and staff got in and out well enough albeit at quite some
expense.
(I know they have removed charges in Wales, but that also brings
problems where free parking was not envisaged at the design stage.)
Anyway, I'm in the middle of a string of appointments and a car as for
so many is the only method of trans****t possible.
Unfortunately as part of the anti-superbug precuations visiting hours
have been restristed (another move not without its pain to the
disadvantaged)
As a result of this visitors bunch. The carparks have to be managed
with squads of yellow jackets and meters suspended. A double whammy.
for what was an efficient well designed and managed hospital.
All because of a gang of bent vets and their desperate attempts to
cover up their misdeameanors.
Boy Oh Boy, I hope I'm there to see the day of reckoning. They have
cost us all dear and I want to lead the assault on their pension
scheme to reimburse the NHS. It's a minor matter of accounting, just
an adustment.
However life being what it is, American lawyers will have got there
first.
